'Real Mums' lingerie photos go global

Last year I photographed four lovely 'Real Mums' wearing Cake Lingerie.

The images have been used widely in NZ and internationally, appearing in the following magazines/newspapers:

Cosmo Pregnancy

Baby London (UK)

Dobra Mama (Poland)

Woman's Day - including cover

NZ Herald

And on many websites, including the lingerie industry bible 'Lingerie Buyer'.

Good Magazine

On a shelf in a dairy near you (well near me anyway) is the latest issue of Good. I recently shot the cover and photos for the story all about bees.

It was supposed to be a lovely sunny day but we ended up shooting in drizzle and cold winds (deadlines ugh!). Our sweet models were wrapped up warmly between shots and we sheltered under umbrellas. The cover image required a large amount of post production work to make it look like a beautiful day.

They did a wee interview with me for their contributors page about how eco-friendly I am! I think my five year old is going to be the biggest greenie in our house.

Gorgeous Julia in Enterprise North Shore

A few months ago I had the pleasure of photographing four local ladies who received 'recession-busting makeovers' by Headstart Salon in Albany.

It's great to see Julia, one of our lovely ladies, appearing in the latest issue of Enterprise North Shore magazine.

Good Magazine

On page 70 of this month's Good Magazine (in the "family" section) is my photo and wee article about the avid bug collector in our family. I took the magazine photo last spring when Reuben was investigating an earthworm in the backyard (pre-haircut!). I love photographing the boys and their everyday passions. They're growing up so fast and it's essential to capture and preserve those moments. Lisa in Good Magazine

The current Good magazine on the shelves features an eco-house by Ebode on pages 68-71 with my photos. I also have a column on the Contributors page.

If you're not familiar with Good, it's a fabulous magazine dedicated to the sustainable lifestyle. It is also New Zealand's first carbon-neutral magazine.

D-Photo Magazine: Lisa's cover and 6-page spread

The latest issue of New Zealand's photographic magazine, D-Photo, hit the shelves yesterday. I'm very excited that a photo I took of my daughter Jasmine dancing in the long grass is on the cover. Inside the magazine there is a six-page 'D-Folio' display of my work.

Also on the magazine shelves this month: an article about my 'People Photographer of the Year' award, and one of my award-winning photos on page 13 of Her Magazine, and a mention and one of my photos on page 22 of ProDesign Magazine.
