I recently headed up to North Head with a group of six workshop participants, three models, a make-up artist and an assistant for our 'Photographing Models Outdoors' workshop.
We were blessed with sunshine, although it was a bit chilly. Our valiant models were staunch in the face of a nippy wind, as they modeled their 'I', 'C' and 'S' shapes!
I'm happy to announce that I have won two silver merits at the Kodak Gold Awards this year.
It's always a great feeling to have the quality and creativity of my work rewarded. Thanks go to Kate and Taya, the gorgeous subjects in these two images.
I had fun photographing the Trelise Cooper show at fashion week at the Auckland Viaduct.
For the most part the models managed to stay on their feet even in some very high heels. I quite fancied some of those shoes but was pretty happy to be in the media stand in my flat ones.
Gorgeous Tamara needs photos for modelling/acting so she travelled up from Waihi for her studio shoot. She was styled by hair and make-up artist Nicholette Munday.
Kate has been a part-time member of the ImageMe team since the start of the year, and a very valued one! Some for you may have met her on the ImageMe stand at the Parent and Child Show, or you may have heard her friendly voice on the phone. Kate flew back to her hometown, Wellington, this afternoon, to start studying Law in the New Year. This morning, before she headed to the airport, we did what we love to do best - take photos!
